   Education for Young Women

   In 2006, the Salesian Sisters initiated a project to support rural communities from different ethnic groups in mountainous north-eastern Thailand. The project aimed to provide girls with equitable access to quality education not available to them at home due to the remoteness of their villages.

   Our Lady Queen of Martyrs School

   Our Lady Queen of Martyrs (OLQM)) Secondary School operates out of a Diocese-run primary school site that was shut down in 1975 due to lack of funding. Since that time there has been no Catholic education in the area.

   Mother & Baby Home

   Opened in 1972, the Mother and Baby Home (locally known as Baan Sukruthai) offers a temporary refuge for women from all parts of Thailand. Currently supporting 16 mothers, the Home provides accommodation, nourishing food, and other personal necessities to mothers and their children until they are able to return to their homes (if possible) or stand on their own.

   Kindergarten Centre

   Born out of necessity, the Kindergarten Centre was created as a safe place for the children of women who attended the Fatima Training Centre (FTC), another Catholic Mission-supported project. The Kindergarten Centre allows mothers to be assured their children were taken care of while they are working.

   Arrupe Welcome Centre

   The Arrupe Welcome Centre, founded in 2001 by Bishop Enrique Figaredo Alvargonzalez (affectionately, known as, Bishop ‘Kike’), aims to promote the integration and independence of people with disabilities in society. By developing more sustainable activities at the Centre this project will enable the continued support of people with or affected by disability for generations to come.

   Empowering generations through agriculture and social enterprise at Phnom Voah

   Located roughly 170 kilometres south-west of Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh are the Phnom Voah Farm in Kampot Province and St Francis Private Technical High School (St Francis) in Takeo Province.

   Outreach Program for inclusion and self-sustainability for people with disability

   The Outreach Program has been in operation for around 20 years and has seen inspiring transformations for individuals, families and communities across northwest Cambodia.

   Children’s Home – Thailand

   Partner with Fr Paul and the Camillian Social Centre, this Christmas, as they provide children affected by HIV/AIDS in Thailand with a holistic approach to care.

   Health Clinic- Timor Leste

   Partner with Sr Carolina as she provides her community in Timor-Leste with access to adequate care and resources that promote good health.
